On Balance Volume Technical Indicator (OBV) is a technical indicator that relates volume to price change. With this indicator, the logic of which is quite simple, you can sense of the strength of the trend at the moment.
The OBV usage logic is a very simple indicator. It uses Bullish and Bearish price trends. If the OBV line is rising, it means that the volume on positive days is higher than the volume on negative days. In other words, the market climate is deemed bullish. If OBV is falling, it means that the volume on negative days is higher than the volume on positive days. In other words, the market climate is deemed bearish.
